Wrapping Up

Howdy! Thanks for taking the time to read through my blog update for the month! Everything is starting to wrap up here on campus for the weirdest year on record for college ministry (or anything for that matter; I think we all know how crazy this year has been).

This year has been harder to start, grow, and maintain relationships, but it wasn't impossible! I formed so many relationships this year through core, peer team, and with the other apprentices! God continues to show me more of himself, grow me through others, and allow me to grow others. It seems to me that a lot of life is growing to look more like Christ, and I think that's achieved best with others.

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
Proverbs 27:17

My core (most of them) this year! Love these guys a lot
Peter's peer team this year! Peer team is a small group of student leaders who meet about once a week to talk ministry and leadership development
Me, James (my co-leader), and Peter (my supervisor and peer team leader)
Me and James!! He's a pretty rad dude
All of the FOCUS, Wylie CTF, and Northeast Church apprentices with Ronnie (middle), the pastor of Northeast Church. Ronnie has poured so much into us to develop us as pastors and leaders and has done so for many other pastors and leaders before us. We love him a lot!!

Future Plans

I wrote in a previous blog post that I won't be staying on staff and will be moving on to graduate school. It's official! I'll be a graduate student at Dallas Baptist University starting in the fall pursuing a master's in Christian counseling. I'm excited to start this new chapter of life and take what I learned in the apprenticeship and apply it outside the college campus. I'll also be moving back to Arlington, and I'm excited to keep pursuing the relationships I started there and keep up with those who I've grown close to this year in Plano.

In Christ,
